Hola my friend, I’ll be organising our annual Spanish Dance master workshop from Spain with the lovely Paloma Gómez of Madrid. The workshops take place from Wed 27 Nov to Sun 1 Dec 2024 in Singapore.
For those who might not know, this lovely maestra simply exudes elegance, beauty and femininity. And, as a former Ballet Nacional de España dancer, she is well-versed in the rich diversity of Spanish Dance.
So this year, I’ve asked her to give us an experience of the main FOUR SPECIALITIES OF SPANISH DANCE in our one week of workshop. Each of them have their distinctive feature and you’ll be get a feel of its dance character.
What I love about Paloma is that she wants us to FEEL our beauty and experience it. Sometimes, we get too focused on the technique such that it becomes dry, academic or uninteresting to learn. But by feeling, enjoying our movement, and ‘breathing with the music’, we are uplifted and happy. (Add to that some challenges for a personal sense of accomplishment too!)
HERE ARE THE FULL DETAILS – SCHEDULE, DANCE CONTENT, VENUE, FEES
Please don’t hesitate to contact me to chat about any of the programmes and to find a suitable one for you. (Whatsapp: 97377703 or email: tania@spanishdance.sg)
FOUR Specialities of Spanish Dance you should know about!
Many people know about flamenco as a dance from Spain. But did you know that there are actually more styles of Spanish dances?
Whether you are a dancer, a language student, culture buff, a school teacher or theatre programmer, you can get to know and enjoy the diversity of Spain – through dance, song and music!
(This post is still in-progress. I’ll be uploading photos & videos so you can get visual cues)
Grow rich with culture, connection and experiences!
